Prior to joining Blaqwell, Ebi worked in Corporate Development at RBC Dain Rauscher, a US subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Canada. He created financial models to value business units and firms that were potential M&A candidates, and also analyzed their strategic fit. His previous experience was in marketing, including business-to-business market research, where he advised firms seeking to introduce products and services in new markets.

Ebi has done graduate studies in business strategy, marketing and finance. He has an MBA from the Carlson School of Management, where he was a Harrison Scholar, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
