Graeme Brister is a founding partner of Blaqwell, Inc. During 25 years with leading international and national law firms, he has been actively involved not only as a practicing lawyer but also as a manager of both practice groups and as a managing partner. He has been and remains a consultant to the senior management of several global investment banks on matters of risk management and organization.

Mr. Brister has extensive experience in partnership matters: governance, profitability management, infrastructure/IT development and practice area growth. In his legal career, he principally served the financial services industry, eventually co-leading the Global Financial Markets Group for Linklaters. He co-led and co-launched Linklaters' Blue Flag on-line financial services information product. At Blaqwell, Mr. Brister focuses on profitability management, organizational design/development, negotiation, marketing, merger transactions and practice area development.

A graduate of Exeter Academy and Brasenose College, Oxford University, Mr. Brister spent 20+ years with Linklaters, leaving as a Group Leader for litigation. He was London Managing Partner for Pinsent and Curtis until his retirement in 2000. He now focuses on his consultancy work to the legal and financial services industries. In addition, Mr. Brister is chairman of the board of the Institute of Citizenship and active in several other charities.
